If you are like me, and have to walk around a lot at work, wearing comfortable shoes is a must! After feeling like I had tried all of the inserts you can buy at HEB and Target, I found Foot Petals! Let's face it ladies, fashionable shoes are never really comfortable... but they can be wearable!

Plus they are sold at tons of locations - including Nordstrom's. Most of the designs run about $20 for 3 sets -- totally worth it for some comfort!!!

Blame it the rain, yeah, yeah...

The rainy weather today made me think about what to wear when you HAVE to be out in the rain. Of course, the easy summer answer is "flip flops" but what about when its cold? All those fabulous suede shoes will be destroyed by a good storm!

The answer is: wellies.

These super cute rubber boots are perfect for a rainy day (or snowy day for those of you who live in places with seasons). The best part is, you can get them anywhere!

I bought my fun green and pink plaid wellies at Costco but I have seen them at Target, and JCrew. Even Nordstrom carries fancy Burberry ones. Or, you can go online to Piperlime and find a whole section of them! The starting price at Target is only $25 click here for more info!

Have you been to Charming Charlie yet? Apparently, it opened down off of Brodie by DSW over a month ago! How have I missed this???

Basically, Charming Charlie is like Francesca's, only bigger. Much, much bigger. This photo is just one tiny corner of the Brodie store! They have jewelry, accessories, and great gift items! It is the sort of place that you can actually go to with something already pictured in your head - AND IT WILL ACTUALLY BE THERE! Also - everything I saw was reasonably priced - I bought a gorgeous black necklace and earrings set for only $20!!!

Happy Election Day!

Jeans are everywhere. From casual Fridays to a hot night on the town - jeans are not just functional anymore - they are a true fashion statement.

In Austin, there are several shop dedicated to denim. My favorite is HEM, which is located at 12th and Lamar. They have options for every shape and size - and everyone tells me I look my skinniest when I wear the jeans I purchased there!

No, they are not cheap. But, if you are going to splurge on something, it should at least be a piece that you can wear - all. the. time.

Every girl on the go needs a great bag to carry her laptop in. Unfortunately, so many bags are manly or not functional.

Three years ago, I had to carry a laptop with me everywhere I went. Not only did I want something functional, but I wanted a bag that was pretty to look at.
